Strategic Vision

It is not enough to work tirelessly to promote and educate the interests of the BPA members and the pearl (cultured and natural) industry as a whole . Our strategic vision is also strive to develop leadership at a national level and to that end, work to organise our organisational capacity.

Staff development, boosting our national advocacy function, strengthening our representation on appropriate bodies, improving our governance, policy and procedures, and upgrading our business procedures are all part of the BPAs strategic vision to position itself as a reliable, smart and effective industry leader.

Communication

Effective, accountable and timely communication is an important driving factor of the Committee and staff engage with its members, the pearl (cultured and natural) industry, the broader industry and regulations and the public. Communicative, open and honest relationships is the best way to manage the BPA for the benefit of the current and future generation.

Collaboration

We believe strongly that open, honest communication is the key to clearly identified and articulated goals. Plus a willingness to work collaboratively with all levels of the pearl industry, interested groups and the broader community is the best way to secure the growth of UK pearls (cultured and natural) and pearl (cultured and natural) suppliers.
